Airbags

Another question of paper versus plastic.

Paper Dunnage Bags – Level 1 – Level 5

Southern Bracing’s Paper Air Dunnage Bags are among the best in the industry.  From highway to rail shipments, air dunnage bags offer the quickest and easiest form of cargo securement or void filler when used correctly.  On-Site training, load securement assistance, and load diagrams, are available free of charge from our Sales Engineers and Technical Staff.

Description:
With paper bags the extruded polyethylene inner bladder is reinforced with multiple layers of paper.  The higher the level bag the more layers of paper are required to meet our standards.  Our level 1-5 air dunnage bags are tested and approved for all modes of transportation by the AAR as a stand-alone securement system or in conjunction with other securement systems as a void filler for non-hazardous cargo.

Simple to install – Easy to remove. With proper installation they can prevent end-to-end and side-to-side movement.

Paper Air dunnage bags are available in multiple sizes across all levels.  Contact our sales team for a quote and lead times.

Basic Sizing Guide:

Airbags should not extend more than 1-2” above the freight and after inflation should not be in contact with the floor.  Please keep in mind most airbags will shrink slightly during inflation.
